Dover cliff plunge dog rescued by Kent fire crews

A dog has been rescued by fire crews after plunging about 100ft (30 metres) down a cliff at Dover.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said Skippy the Jack Russell landed on a ledge after falling near Western Heights on Sunday morning.

Crews from Dover and Deal used specialist equipment to search the area after being called by the dog's owner.

Watch Manager Jamie Muddle said the dog was found "uninjured and still yapping" and the owner was "very relieved".
