Woman sexually assaulted at Cliftonville bus stop

A woman was sexually assaulted while she was standing at a bus stop in Kent.

The 20-year-old student was standing at a bus stop in Northdown Road, Cliftonville, at about 0830 BST.

She was approached by a man who tapped her on the shoulder before sexually assaulting her. Police said she was left shaken.

The offender was described as aged between 30 and 40, of medium build with short brown hair and wearing an orange and brown jacket.

Acting Det Sgt Neil Watford from Kent Police said: "Although she wasn't hurt she was left shaken by the incident and we are keen to track down the offender."
