Kent Police appeal after Longfield crash woman dies

A 76-year-old woman who was involved in a road crash in Kent has died a week after the collision.

Kent Police renewed appeals for information after the death of the woman on Thursday.

Police said she was driving a Vauxhall Corsa in New Barn Road, Longfield, on 22 December, when it was involved in a crash with a Ford Fiesta.

The man driving the Fiesta also suffered serious injuries, PC Guy Ditcher said.

The road was closed for about four hours while emergency teams dealt with the incident and forensic examinations were carried out.

The woman who died has not yet been identified.
