Man charged over over Gillingham car wash shooting

A man has been charged in connection with a shooting at a Kent car wash that left two men injured.

Adam Green, 24, of Hards Town, Chatham, Kent is accused of making threats to kill and affray.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody to appear in court again on 23 April.

Two men, aged 27 and 34, who were injured during the incident in Railway Street, Gillingham, on Friday, have been discharged from hospital.

Kent Police said another man was arrested at about 09:30 BST on Tuesday in connection with the shooting.

Three other men questioned by officers over the incident have been released on bail.
