Gravesend man accused of assaulting baby

A man has been accused of assaulting a 31-day-old baby in Kent in December 2011.

Nathan Rawling, 35, appeared at Maidstone Magistrates' Court charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

A woman, aged 34, who was held in connection with the incident in Gravesend, remains on police bail.

Mr Rawling, of St Gregory's Crescent, Gravesend, was given bail. The baby has made a full recovery.
