Man pleads guilty to manslaughter of father

A Kent man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his father on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

The body of Terence Wotton was found by police at his home in Mackenzie Way, Gravesend, on 12 September.

Mr Wotton's 47-year-old son Tony, also of Mackenzie Way, was given an order restricting his discharge indefinitely from hospital.

His father died from multiple stab wounds to his chest and arms at his family home.
