'Kidnapped' man found in car boot in Chatham

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap after a man was found in the boot of a car in Kent.

Police were called to Chatham Hill in Chatham at 18:30 BST on Thursday after receiving reports that a man had been apparently forced into the car.

The man called police from the boot of the car, but his call was disconnected before he could give full details.

Two men aged 31 and 38-years old both from Gillingham have been arrested and are in custody.

Kent Police said that weapons had been seized following a search of the car.
