Three rescued from Isle of Sheppey mud
Emergency services took nearly five hours to rescue a man trapped up to his chest in mud on the Isle of Sheppey.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KF&RS) said three people were initially stuck near Seacliff Caravan Park at Minster at 13:48 GMT on Sunday.
Fire crews first released a 13 and 21-year-old who had tried to rescue a third man stuck in mud further out.
KF&RS said crews were at the scene until 19:00 GMT carrying out the "long and difficult" third rescue.
All three people were all taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
As well as the fire service, coastguard, police, ambulance and lifeboat crews were involved in the rescue.
