CCTV images have been released of two men police want to trace after joyriders stole a double-decker bus and crashed it in Kent.

Four parked cars were damaged and a lamppost destroyed before the bus was smashed into a garden wall in Ramsgate in the early hours of Saturday.

The vehicle was parked on the forecourt of Ramsgate railway station ready to be used as a replacement service later.

Two men and a woman broke into the bus and drove it away from the station.

The three people abandoned the double-decker after the crash in Grange Road.

Police, who have spoken to an 18-year-old local woman about the incident, are appealing for the public's help to identify the men captured on CCTV cameras on the bus and the surrounding area.

"It is sheer luck that no one was hurt during this foolish incident," said Det Con Steve Best.
