Death of man in Coxheath barn fire 'not suspicious'

The death of a man found following a barn fire in Kent is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The fire in Forstal Lane, Coxheath, near Maidstone, was reported at 15:40 BST on Friday and a man was said to be trapped in the barn.

Six fire engines were called to the blaze and remained at the scene until shortly after midnight.

A post-mortem examination took place on Saturday which showed the man died as a result of the fire, Kent Police said.
