A man has been arrested after two cash machines were stolen in a ram raid at a Tesco supermarket in Kent.

A stolen JCB was found at the store in Pembury, Tunbridge Wells after the cash machines were ripped from the wall in the early hours of Thursday.

The machines were found near Marden at 17:30 BST the same day with their contents intact, Kent Police said.

A 28 year-old man from Maidstone has been arrested on suspicion of theft and bailed until 19 September.

Three more vehicles believed to have been used in the raid, including a pick-up truck and a 4x4, were also found in west Kent.
