Rainham mother denies baby window fall charge

A 31-year-old mother has denied causing child neglect after her one-year-old baby fell from a first-floor window on to an elderly man walking below.

Karen Sennett, of Station Road, Rainham, Kent pleaded not guilty to the charge at Medway Magistrates' Court.

Her infant suffered major injuries when she fell from a window on 5 August and hit the man before landing on the pavement.

Ms Sennett was bailed to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 14 November.
