A man suspected to have been killed by a falling tree has been named as farm manager Ian Wall.

Kent Police said the 52-year-old was fatally injured at a site near Painter's Forstal Road, Faversham, at about 12:15 GMT on Sunday.

Mr Wall worked for fruit grower AC Goatham & Son, who said he died in a "non work-related incident".

Owners Clive and Ross Goatham described him as a "much-loved colleague and friend who would be deeply missed".

Mr Wall, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, had worked for the company for two years.

Police said the Health and Safety Executive had been informed.
