Margate murder: Second man is charged

A second man has been charged with murder after a body was discovered at a house in Margate, Kent.

Edvardas Barscevicius, 38, was found in Ethelbert Terrace on Monday 3 July.

Klaudijus Klimanskis, 41, of Athelstan Road has been charged with murder and has been remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates earlier.

Aurimas Vilius, 24, of Ethelbert Terrace, is also charged with murder, and assault on another man in connection with the incident.

Both men will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 10 July 2017.

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have also charged Mr Klimanskis with assault on another Margate man in connection with the incident.

A 35-year-old man previously arrested in connection with the incident has been released pending further inquiries.

Another man, aged 54, was released without charge.
