Officers host open day at Preston police station

Police in Preston are urging people to go to an open day at the city's police station, to learn about the work of the emergency services.

The station, in Lancaster Road North, will be open to the public on Sunday, from 1100 to 1600 BST.

The day will include demonstrations from the fire service, the opportunity to meet the police horses and a tour of the custody suite.

Senior officials from the organisations will also be available for questions.
