Man arrested after horses die in Blackpool stable fire

A man has been arrested after two horses were killed in a fire at a stable block in Lancashire.

Fire fighters were called to the buildings in Chapel Road, Marton Moss, Blackpool, just after 0030 BST.

Three other horses were rescued from the site and were being treated by a vet before being relocated to another stable, the fire service said.

The 51-year-old man from Lytham St Annes is being held on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
