Man charged after Lancashire M6 disruption
A man has been charged after an incident which closed part of the M6 in Lancashire for four hours, causing major traffic disruption.
Lancashire Police closed the motorway near Salmesbury on Thursday morning after reports a man was threatening to jump from a motorway bridge.
It caused a huge build up of traffic between junctions 31a and 32.
A 38-year-old man has been charged with causing a public nuisance and is due before Preston magistrates on Saturday.
