Nelson house murder suspect released without charge

A man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after another man was found dead at a house in Lancashire has been released without charge.

The body of Dean Beardsworth, 37, was discovered by police on Monday after they forced their way into the property in Nelson.

Lancashire Police said he had suffered "significant head injuries".

A spokeswoman said officers still wanted to trace Mr Beardsworth's movements before his death.

They particularly want to hear from anyone who saw him from Saturday lunchtime until 1500 BST on Monday.
