A man was sexually assaulted at knife-point by two men who approached him in Blackpool, police have said.
The 27-year-old was walking along Lower Walk, near the Formula go-karting track, in the early hours of Sunday when two men approached him.
They forced him against a wall, threatened him with a knife and sexually assaulted him.
Anyone who may have information about the attack is being urged to call Lancashire police.
Det Insp Sue Cawley, from Blackpool CID, said: "This is a particularly nasty assault and the victim has been left very shaken following his ordeal.
"I would appeal for anyone who has any information to come forward and contact us.
"I would like people to be reassured that any information passed to us will be treated in confidence and would encourage people to come forward. It is important we find the people responsible."
