Boy, 17, held over sex attack on woman in Nelson

A 17-year-old boy is being questioned over a sex attack on a 64-year-old woman in her Lancashire home, described by police as "despicable".

The woman was attacked by a man who broke into the house in Nelson, Lancashire early on Friday.

Police said the youth, from Pendle, was arrested on Saturday night and is being held at Burnley Police Station.

The spokesman also said that a man, 30, who had been arrested earlier has been released without charge.
