Man critical after Preston balcony fall
A man is critically ill after falling from the balcony of a third-floor flat in Preston.
The 22-year-old fell from Richmond House in Avenham just before 1930 BST on Monday.
Three men, aged 18, 20 and 26, who were in the flat have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and are being questioned.
Lancashire police said the incident was being treated as unexplained. They are appealing for witnesses.
Det Insp Gareth Willis, of Lancashire Police, said: "At this moment in time, the incident is currently being treated as unexplained and we are trying to piece together the evening's events leading to this man's fall.
"In particular, I am appealing to anyone who may either live in the flats or who may have been visiting that evening that may have seen or heard anything at all to come forward and contact us.
"Any information could be crucial in helping us to establish the circumstances."
