Wayne Rooney scored from the penalty spot against Blackburn Rovers on 14 May
The penalty spot from which Manchester United's Wayne Rooney scored the goal that clinched his club's 19th title in the top flight is up for sale.
It was cut from the turf at Blackburn Rovers ground by fan Eddie Maxwell, who is selling the spot on the internet auction site eBay.
Mr Maxwell is said to be selling the historic piece of grass in aid of his Sunday League side, King Edward FC.
A Blackburn Rovers spokesman said he had sought their permission.
"He told us what he wanted to do and we had no problem," he added.
The pitch is being re-laid.
The online auction, which ends on 8 June, had attracted more than 80 bids and reached a four-figure sum by noon on Wednesday.
