Death of Ryan Anderton in Rawtenstall: Two men released

Two men arrested over the death of an 18-year-old who was found dead in a Lancashire town have been released without charge.

Ryan Anderton was found by a police patrol car on Kay Street, Rawtenstall, at 03:50 GMT on Saturday.

An ambulance was called but Mr Anderton, who was from the local area, died at the scene. His death is being treated as unexplained.

Police are looking for a woman who was seen in the area to come forward.

She is described as white, between 28 and 30 years old, about 5ft 4in (1.6m) tall and of slim build with shoulder length, dark, straight hair.

She was wearing a turquoise sequined top and black trousers, police said.
