Det Insp Andy Hulme said: "We believe these people may have noticed Rob as they walked in the vicinity of Studholme Avenue.

"This would have been shortly before he was found on Martinfield Road and we are keen to speak to these individuals to see if they perhaps saw anything or could provide us with any information, at all, that might help the investigation.

"We have also issued a CCTV image of Rob in the hope that people might recognise him from the picture and that it will jog their memories if they did indeed see him in the area.

"We would also like to speak to any groups of youngsters who may have been out and about around the Martinfield Road area at that time."
