Paul Chadwick remanded over charges of murdering son and partner

A man charged with murdering his partner and their young son in Lancashire has been remanded in custody following a court appearance.

The bodies of Lisa Clay, 40, and Joseph Chadwick, six, were found with stab wounds at their home on Lowlands Road, Bolton-le-Sands on 9 April.

Paul Chadwick, 34, of the same address, appeared at Preston Magistrates Court.

He was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday.

A post-mortem examination of Ms Clay and her son found both died from multiple stab wounds.
