Flu vaccines stolen from Rishton medical centre

A van containing medical vaccinations worth over £10,000 has been stolen from outside a Lancashire medical centre.

The white Mercedes Sprinter, containing flu and various other vaccines, was taken from High Street Medical Centre in Rishton at 13:00 BST.

Police said the vehicle, with the registration number RX13 JAU, was last seen at junction 7 of the M65 headed towards junction 8.

The van does not contain any controlled drugs, a police spokesman said.
