A robber who targeted an elderly man and two teenagers in a series of attacks in Lancashire is wanted by police.

Police in Blackburn have issued a CCTV image of a man they are looking for after three incidents in four days.

Among the robberies, a 71-year-old man was attacked from behind as he arrived at his home in Seven Trees Avenue, on Wednesday at 22:00 BST.

He was pushed into his hall, grabbed in the neck and forced to hand over cash.

On Thursday, a 14-year-old boy and his uncle were targeted near a cash machine outside the Premier Store at Shear Brow.

After a struggle, during which the teenager was punched in the face and banknotes torn up, the man fled empty-handed.

A 19-year-old woman was targeted in Whalley New Road at 17:30 BST on Saturday. She was withdrawing cash from a TSB machine when the robber grabbed money and ran off.

Lancashire Police said they believe the same offender is responsible, and the victims have been left shaken.
