Missing Nelson girl, 13, found safe and well

A 13-year-old girl who had been missing from her hometown since Sunday has been found safe and well.

The teenager was last seen at about 20:45 BST leaving an address in Railway Street in Nelson, Lancashire.

Lancashire Police thanked the public for their help and said the girl had been found in Furness, Cumbria at about 20:50.

Two men, aged 47 and 22, both from Nelson, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of child abduction.
