Charges after Leeds United and Derby County match

Seven men have been charged following a football match between Leeds United and Derby County on the first day of the Championship season.

Police said 12 men were arrested after minor trouble broke out at the end of Saturday's game at Elland Road, which Derby won 2-1.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said four were charged with drink-related offences.

He said three others were charged with public order offences.

All seven will appear before magistrates in Leeds next week.

Five other men were released without charge.
