Three men have been taken to hospital after a suspected arson attack at a West Yorkshire takeaway.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fire began at the Oasis takeaway on Morley Street, Bradford at 0125 BST Monday.

West Yorkshire Police said it was believed an item was thrown into the building, causing the fire.

Male staff members, two aged 35 and one aged 38, were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary after receiving injuries.

The 38-year-old man was transferred to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield with serious injuries. The two other men remain in a stable condition.

Police said there was an argument at the takeaway shortly before the fire, and officers were appealing to anyone who was there at the time, for information.
