Castleford youths arrested in cable theft crackdown

Three youths have been charged with attempting to steal cable from train lines in Castleford.
Two 15-year-old males were arrested on Wednesday night near Airedale bridge and a 16-year-old was arrested from an address in the town.
British Transport Police (BTP) said all three would appear at Pontefract Magistrates' Court on 28 April.
The arrests were part of a two-week operation by BTP targeting cable theft in the Yorkshire region.
BTP said the the two 15 year olds were also charged with trespass.
