Man back in court over party stabbing in Cleckheaton

A 19-year-old man has made a second appearance in court charged with murdering a man after a house party in West Yorkshire.

Peter Brocklesby, 50, was attacked near his home in Brooklyn Road, Cleckheaton, early on Saturday. He died in hospital from stab wounds.

Richard Oldroyd of Great Pond Street, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, appeared at Leeds Crown Court earlier.

No plea was entered and he was remanded in custody to appear again on 18 May.
