Leeds city centre rape: Two men remanded

Two men accused of the rape of a 19-year-old woman in Leeds city centre have been remanded in custody.

She was attacked in a yard at the back of The Vine pub, off the Headrow, in the early hours of 11 November.

Njabula Ngwenya, of no fixed abode, and Nicolas Antonio Soto-Canto, of Clifton Terrace, Leeds, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court.

The suspects, both 19, are due to appear at the city's crown court on 24 November.
