West Yorkshire Police worker Angela Pearson in court over mother's death
A "police support worker" has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of her elderly mother.
Angela Pearson, 52, is accused of gross negligence in connection with the death of 82-year-old Eileen Pearson in Guiseley, Leeds on 10 May.
Ms Pearson is suspended from work by West Yorkshire Police.
Magistrates in Manchester granted her unconditional bail and she is expected to appear at the city's Crown Court on 5 December.
West Yorkshire Police would only say Ms Pearson was a "police support worker", but would not reveal what that meant.
