Two BBC Radio Leeds presenters have attended a civic reception with the Lord Mayor of Leeds in recognition of their charity fundraising.

Katherine Hannah and Adam Pope pedalled a swan-shaped pedalo on the Liverpool-Leeds canal for 10 days, raising more than £50,000 for Sport Relief.

Hannah tweeted: "Thanks to Lord Mayor of Leeds and all at his office for a lovely welcome... Very proud."

The pair met Councillor the Reverend Alan Taylor at the city's Civic Hall.

Their fundraising journey finished among large crowds at Granary Wharf in the centre of Leeds in March with James Toseland, the former World Superbike champion, waving the chequered flag.
