The funeral has taken place of a man who police believe was murdered in his Bradford home.

Clement Desmier, 68, was found dead on 23 August at his house in Rowlestone Rise, Ravenscliffe, having sustained multiple injuries.

Two months on, police said they need a "breakthrough" to find his killer, and have made a fresh call for information. He was last seen alive on 22 August.

Mr Desmier's funeral took place at Rawdon Crematorium.

Mr Desmier, who was known as Butch, was last seen alive entering his home with a man in the afternoon the day before he was found dead.

Det Supt Mark Ridley, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "We still do not know who this man is... the information this individual may hold could be key to our investigations.

"The breakthrough we need is likely to lie locally and even the smallest detail could lead us to tracing those responsible."

Police have also appealed for information about two men seen "acting suspiciously" outside Mr Desmier's house, at about 03:00 BST on 23 August.

A £5,000 Crimestoppers reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Mr Desmier's death.
