A mother has denied the manslaughter of her four-year-old son and preventing the burial of his body.

Amanda Hutton, 42, was arrested after the decomposed body of Hamza Khan was found at a house in Bradford in 2011.

She appeared at Bradford Crown Court with her son Tariq Khan, 24, who also pleaded not guilty to preventing the burial of a body.

Ms Hutton, of Farcliffe Road, and Mr Khan, of Bradford Road, were given bail to appear again on 25 July.

A trial date has been set for 16 September.

Ms Hutton has also denied a number of other charges including one of benefit fraud.
