Kirklees man calls for help before robbing Good Samaritan

A man has been robbed in Kirklees after going to the aid of a person who was calling for help.

The 24-year-old heard a man cry out from an alleyway near Beck Lane, Heckmondwike, at around 04:45 GMT on Wednesday.

When he went to help, he was pulled to the floor and held down while another man went through his pockets.

The victim was left with injuries to his face and hands and cash was taken by the thieves.
