Second arrest over Bradford mobility scooter rider death

A second man has been arrested over the death of a mobility scooter rider killed in a hit-and-run crash.

The victim, a 70-year-old man, was crossing Leeds Road in Bradford when he was hit by a car on Friday. He died at the scene.

West Yorkshire Police said a 21-year-old man, from Bradford, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He was also arrested on suspicion of failing to stop or report an accident.

A 34-year-old man, also from Bradford, who was arrested on Saturday has been released on police bail.
