A third person has been charged over an armed raid at a West Yorkshire post office robbed by suspects in wigs.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named, is accused of possessing a firearm and aggravated vehicle-taking in connection with the robbery on Boston Spa high street on 23 March.

He will appear at Leeds Youth Court later.

Two men from Leeds have already appeared before magistrates in connection with the robbery.

Martin James Pick, 38, of Willow Avenue, Clifford, and Mark Pick, 41, of Lea Farm Road, are both charged with robbery and possessing a firearm.

A 32-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, has been released on bail.

A shotgun was fired and a staff member was struck with a crowbar during the raid.
