Hebden Bridge bike victim may have lain undiscovered for a day

The body of a man killed in a motorbike crash could have been there for more than 24 hours.

Officers were called at 11:25 BST to the A646 Burnley Road, near Hebden Bridge after a man's body was found.

The accident is thought to have happened between the early hours of Wednesday morning and Thursday morning, police say.

The road was closed between Station Road, Hebden Bridge and New Road, Mytholmroyd.

West Yorkshire Police said the victim's family had been informed and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
