Two in court over kidnap and rape in Leeds

Two men have appeared in court charged over the rape and kidnap of a woman who was given a lift from Leeds city centre in the early hours of Sunday.　

Ross Waterhouse, aged 22, of Hyde Park, Leeds, is charged with kidnap and rape.

Matthias Buchmeier, 30, of Manor Park, Scarcroft, is charged with kidnap.　

The pair were remanded at Leeds Magistrates' Court earlier, and are due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 21 December.

A third man, aged 22, also from Leeds, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
