Sinead Wooding named as body found at Alwoodley Crags

A woman found dead in woodland near Leeds has been named.

The body of Sinead Wooding, 26, was discovered by joggers near Alwoodley Crags car park in Stairfoot Lane on Sunday.

Four men, aged 20, 26, 32 and 70, and a 27-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in custody.

West Yorkshire Police said the scene is being examined by forensics teams and officers are conducting "extensive inquiries".

Det Ch Insp Stuart Spencer said: "Sinead's family are completely devastated about her death and we have specially-trained family liaison officers supporting them at what is obviously an incredibly difficult time. 

"Our investigation is progressing and we have now arrested five suspects who we are continuing to interview."
