Emergency crews at Coalville factory fire

Fire crews have been damping down overnight at the scene of a factory fire in Leicestershire.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Waterworks Road in Coalville just after 2200 BST.

At the height of the blaze six fire engines were in attendance and a specialist hazardous materials team was called as a precaution.

Police advised people living nearby to keep windows and doors closed due to heavy smoke.

There are no reports of any injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the fire have begun.
