Man charged over 'cannabis' find in Loughborough

A man has been charged after a suspected cannabis factory was discovered in a Leicestershire town.

Police officers searched a property on Queen's Road in Loughborough on Wednesday.

They found about 680 plants, which are believed to be cannabis, and would have a street value of £190,000. Drugs paraphernalia was also found.

A 38-year-old man has been charged with production and cultivation of cannabis. He was remanded into custody.
