Fault forces plane back to East Midlands Airport

A BMI Baby flight had to turn back to East Midlands Airport after oxygen masks were released 20 minutes into the journey.

The company has confirmed there was "a partial loss of cabin pressure" on flight WW5251, which left at 0640 BST.

The flight landed safely and BMI Baby arranged for a replacement plane to take passengers to Paris.

A spokesman said engineers were currently investigating the cause of the problem.
