Hippo helps soldiers' charity bid in Rutland
A model hippopotamus has been helping soldiers raise money in Rutland.
Members of 16th Regiment Royal Artillery set off from Oakland Castle pulling Hugo the Helmand Hippo.
Hugo arrived at the barracks earlier this year as part of a sculpture trail funded by the Arts Council of England and developed by Arts for Rutland.
The troops' 50-mile walk took them to hippo statues in Rutland to raise money for three charities. It ended at St George's Barracks on Sunday.
Money raised during the tour will be split equally between Help for Heroes, the Army Benevolent Fund, and Leicestershire and Rutland's local research charity, Hope Against Cancer.
The trail took in locations including Oakham, Uppingham and Rutland Water.
