Police are trying to trace the people responsible for throwing bricks at moving vehicles in Leicestershire.
Officers received nine reports of vehicles being damaged in the Queniborough, Quorn, Barrow-upon-Soar and Swithland areas on Tuesday.
Two people told police their vehicles were hit by a brick thrown from a passing car. Police said it was lucky no-one was injured.
Leicestershire Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
Pc Martine Coleman said: "During two of the incidents a 4x4 vehicle was seen either driving off or driving by the vehicle damaged."
"Luckily no-one was injured during these incidents but it could have quite easily been a different type of investigation."
