Fire crews search burning Leicester house

Four fire engines have been called to a blaze which severely damaged a house in Leicester.
The alarm was raised on Shirley Avenue in Knighton just after 0200 GMT.
Initially there were concerns someone might be trapped inside, but a search showed it had been cleared. No one is reported to have been hurt.
A room has been destroyed but the building has been severely affected by smoke. Officers will return to investigate the cause.
