Woman rescued from Leicester house fire

An unconscious woman has been rescued from a house fire.

The woman was found by emergency crews who searched the home in Falconer Crescent, Leicester, in the early hours.

She was brought outside and treated at the scene. The woman had regained consciousness before being taken to hospital.

An investigation into the cause of the fire, which had apparently started in the hallway, has begun.
